Metalsmithing basic course [Beginner]

6 classes (12 hours) for $450

1 class is 2 hours. Students may also use the studio for independent practice depending on availability during the open hours.
So you can practice and work on your pieces after/before classes.

The beginner-level class introduces the fundamentals of jewelry metalsmithing through hands-on creation using brass, copper, and silver. To acquire the fundamentals, a total of 12 hours of instruction is required. While making your own pieces, you will learn essential metalworking techniques including sawing, filing, hammering, polishing, and soldering. All necessary tools are available for borrowing during class.

Copper and brass are included. Silver is available for purchase. Maximum 2 students in our studio. This class is valid for up to one year from the date of your first class. Gift certificate available.

Metalsmithing project course [Intermediate]

1 class (2 hours) for $80

6 classes (12 hours) for $450

If you have a specific piece of jewelry you’d like to create, this class is perfect for you. You can focus your project around your own design and work at your own pace as you progress through the class. Maximum 2 students in our studio.

Workshop

925 Sterling Silver Ring Making

A 1.7mm to 3.3 mm wide 925 sterling silver wire for the simple ring shank is included.

Create your own ring in this hands-on workshop experience.
This class is perfect for those who want to try metalworking for the first time in a focused environment. You will learn the basics of working with silver and complete one ring during the session.

If you wish to make a special design or wedding bands, we will consult your design and the cost.
Class size: up to four participants.

Bracelet/ Circle Earrings

$45/ person—2 hours (No soldering involved)

You can take the lesson together with a group of 2 to 5 friends. Please feel free to contact us about group size. Participants of all ages are welcome. Please let us know your preferred date and time within the studio’s open hours, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. For children under 12 years old, a parent or guardian must attend the lesson together with them.
